Earthwise Design is a Native American owned business that is committed to creating a more sustainable future for our communities and our planet. We do this by educating communities on sustainable practices, working to regenerate the ecology of the place, and maximizing building aesthetics and function to support client needs and goals within the project budget. We utilize a "place-based" design foundation to construct conceptually designed solutions that are bio-climatically appropriate to the site.
Indigenous Knowledge
We respect and integrate indigenous knowledge into our designs, recognizing the wisdom and sustainable practices that have been honed over generations. This not only adds cultural richness to our projects but also reinforces our commitment to responsible and contextually relevant design. The firm is led by Jeff Roberts, an enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation and over his lengthy career he has worked with numerous Inter-Tribal agencies, Indigenous Non-Profits and Tribal Sovereign Nations.
